"I saw behind me those who had gone,
and before me those who are to come.
I looked back and saw my father, and his father,
and all our fathers, and in front to see my son, and his son,
and the sons upon sons beyond
and their eyes were my eyes.”
 ~ Richard Llewellyn

After my high school U.S. History teacher used our own genealogies to bring history alive for us in class; a passion was sparked inside of me to learn more about my family. Bitten by the genealogy bug, I have searched generation by generation to find as many photographs and other documents to discover where my family is from. I have traveled to other states and countries to gather information and to experience where my ancestors lived and died.

I have spent more than 25 years digging, learning, exploring and finding everything I could on my family lines, including locating and establishing links with living relatives in other countries. My hands-on genealogy experience has been acquired through countless hours in various courthouses, libraries, interviews, cemeteries, online databases and by attending numerous genealogy conferences and workshops in the U.S. and internationally.

I have researched family trees both for personal use and for lineage societies such as the Mayflower Society, Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the Utah Pioneers, and First Families of Clark County Ohio.

Genealogy is my obsession and I strive to share this excitement and passion with others. It brings me great pleasure to enable others to discover and connect with their ancestors.

Every project has its own unique set of challenges. Unfortunately, due to fires, planned document destruction, as well as wars or changes in boundaries and time, there can be no guarantees that the documentation or records still exist today. Nevertheless, any records, documents or photographs you currently have can be the catalyst in finding the ancestor you are searching for.

My innovative research and desire to find the answers can often overcome many obstacles. The advantage of hiring a professional is that they have the knowledge, access and experience to know what to ask, where to look and how to find the information that you are seeking.
